LAG are delighted to invite you to join Simon Mullings and Sue James, the authors of Housing Possession Duty Desk, a practical guide, for this exclusive training course which will expand on the book content and offer practical and interactive sessions.

The course has been designed to suit all levels of experience and to give valuable insight into housing law practice and procedure. Spike and Sue have over 50 years' combined experience of frontline advice and a wealth of tactical advice and tips to share.

By offering the option to build your own package, we hope organisations can take advantage of a fantastically priced bundle that will suit the needs of their whole team. The whole course of three sessions offers nine hours of professional development training for £75!

This is essential training for Law Centres, Citizens Advice, housing advice organisations, and anyone involved in housing possession claims from those embarking on duty representation for the first time to experienced advisers and those who may not attend court but are required to understand how best to navigate the system.

This online course is being delivered as three separate sessions, 9.30am-1pm each day.

Delegates can choose to attend a single session or all three depending on their level of experience and desired training outcomes.

In this session Simon Mullings, Sue James and Justine Compton, Deputy District Judge will discuss strategies for dealing with court duty hearings. Attendees will benefit from the experience of both sides of the district bench and may learn what makes judges happy and what does not.
