As the deadline to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) passed on 30 June, Law Centres Network invite you to the launch of our report, titled ‘Vulnerability in the EU Settlement Scheme: looking back, looking forward. A review of evidence from Law Centres’ casework’.
The report reviews the function of the EUSS from its launch in March 2019 until the recent deadline for new applications. Drawing on quantitative and qualitative evidence from Law Centres’ casework from four projects over five years, the report focuses on vulnerable applicants to evaluate the types of vulnerability the EUSS generated, suggesting how these vulnerabilities may affects the EUSS, and makes recommendations to mitigate some of these effects.
